Bio

I grew up in Marietta, GA, a suburb just north of Atlanta. Although I've moved out of the area a couple times, I keep finding my way back. With the film industry growth in Georgia, as well as with Atlanta being a strong tech hub, it's the perfect melting pot for someone like myself.

My creative side didn't really start to surface until I was in graduate school at the University of Georgia. I was studying mathematics, but I knew I wanted to go a different way. Without knowing exactly where, I fumbled around in the metaphorical dark, trying my hand at different things to see what might fit. I taught at university for a while until I eventually found my way into the IT field. These days, life consists of trying to maintain a fine balance between staying current on technology and making time for creative pursuits.

While I appreciate and enjoy technical things, my true love is with the creative. It's what gives me purpose and pushes me forward to keep learning and exploring. I'm still experimenting with different forms and styles when it comes to writing, but so far I've found value in all avenues of written creative expression. I've also had the chance to work on a few film sets, and while it's nothing I can make a living at, I was thankful to have the opportunity to be part of that world and share in those experiences with other passionate people.
